Immortelle Size Guide and Recommender
Our Immortelle "What is my corset size tool?" is designed to be used with proper body measurements. The majority of the tension running through a Corset is focused on the waist. This makes the waist the critical measurement when sizing your corset. Please see our pictures and guidance below.
Immortelle Corset Gowns and Corsetry are unique as they have a front and back 4 inch modesty panel allowing for a completely customized and flexible fit. Immortelle Corsets and Gowns are fully adjustable at the back (traditional) AND the front allowing for the most customizable fit available. You can "Open" or "Close" the lacing at the Bust, Waist & Hip based your level of compression comfort.

MEASURING YOUR BUST
To measure your bust, pull the measuring tape around your back, just under your shoulder blades, up around the fullest part of your bust. The tape should just lay on your bra in front.
Do NOT wear a padded bra.

MEASURING YOUR WAIST
The Universal Bend Test
Start by bending to one side, followed by the other. Find the area of your side that pinches when leaning from side to side. This is where you’ll use a loose vinyl measuring tape when wrapping it around to the front of your stomach.

MEASURING YOUR HIPS
To measure your hips, stand with your feet together and wrap the tape around your hips and bottom. Ensure you keep the measuring tape straight to avoid an incorrect measurement.
Dry Clean Only: Immortelle corsets and corset gowns are made with the highest quality spiral steel boning which can rust if the steel components become damp. All of our corsets and corset gowns are strictly Dry Clean Only with exception of spot cleaning.
Spot Cleaning: First soak or moisten the soiled area with cool or room-temperature water. Second, prepare a paste with baking soda and warm water (3 parts baking soda 1 part water). Now, mix and apply a thick layer of paste to cover the soiled area. Finally, gently scrub the paste into the area (use a soft bristled toothbrush to really reach all the fibers). Lastly, lay your corset or gown flat to dry. DO NOT submerge any of your Immortelle corsetry.
In the event your Corset or Corset Dress does become damp or wet, it is important that you lay your piece flat in a well ventilated/dry area to ensure that any moisture that has wicked into the fabric evaporates efficiently.
